Oh dear. I'm jumping on the bandwagon. I swore I wasn't going to do this, but I can't resist. I read too many good books this year. So... without further ado (in no particular order)... here are my top 8 books from 2018.
1) Sinner by Sierra Simone - It's Sierra Simone... It's age gap. It's forbidden romance. It's about a nun and a sinner... need I say more?
2) Unforgivable by Isabel Love - Isabel poured her heart and soul into this story and it oozes off the pages in the most incredible way. It's heart wrenching and real. I pity anyone who has not read this yet.
3) Combust by K. Bromberg - Firefighters. Nuff said.
4) Cards of Love: The Moon by Sierra Simone - Based in the New Camelot universe, The Moon is magical, sexy, and made me crave more of a story I didn't even realize I needed in the first place.
5) Medicine Man by Saffron A. Kent - Best. Read. Of. The. Year. It's so unique and treads along a line that some authors cannot tiptoe as masterfully as Saffron... but she did it in spades.
6) Wait With Me by Amy Daws - The book that was inspired by the phenomenon that was Tires Tires Tires for Amy Daws. It was cute, laugh out loud hilarious and HOT. A definite must read.
7) Knotted by Pam Godwin - Talk about an unexpected surprise. I went into Knotted completely cold. I had no expectations, no idea what it was even about, and oh... let me tell you... I need myself an alpha cowboy now. It's dark and deals with very heavy subjects and isn't for the faint of heart, but it was worth every minute of my time.
8) Voyeur by Fiona Cole - This story tapped into the voyeurism fantasy that we all have deep inside of us while also giving the added twist of a forbidden student teacher romance. It was everything I wanted and more.
